Profile
Mr. Isidore's practice is principally focused upon
the acquisition, licensing and transfer of intellectual
property rights, including domestic and foreign patents,
trademarks, and copyrights.
Mr. Isidore's
patent
experience includes preparation of domestic and
international utility and design patent applications,
prosecution of patent applications, and appeals to the
Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences of the United
States Patent and Trademark Office. His practice has
encompassed a wide range of technologies, with emphasis
on: computer hardware and software; computer networks;
network security systems, including intrusion detection;
communication and signal processing systems, including
wired and fiber optic transceiver devices, wireless
networks, and wireless consumer devices and software.
Further, Mr. Isidore has significant experience in
preparation and prosecution of business enhancement
patents and business intelligence/ security technology,
including the use of scanners, RFID and Bluetooth in
retail and other applications. Mr. Isidore has also
obtained federal trademark registrations and has managed
several Intellectual Property protection issues,
including: preparing cease and desist correspondences to
prevent/ curtail infringement of client's IP rights, and
responding to such correspondences; drafting
infringement and patentability opinions; drafting IP
business contracts; drafting corporate IP policies;
counseling on business and legal aspects of IP
licensing; serving as local counsel for IP litigation;
and negotiating settlement in IP infringement matters.
